 readers today in PE when have been learning a  lot about badminton and how to play.

If the sever, serves to the other side of the net they get a point and they serve again, and if it goes out or doesn't get past the net is the opposite team's ball. 

You can play badminton in singles pairs, or two in each team, or 4 teams.

If you hit the shuttlecock or don't hit it back over the net, and it falls to the ground, so you might win 3-0, 2-1, or 2-0 

If  the teams are both on 20 points in a game, the winner must get two points ahead to win, eg, 22-20

What is the difference between rock music vs classical music?

The difference between rock music and classical, rock music is loud and its rhythm is usually fast too, and when they start playing rock music they get their rock music instruments and play so loud and sing loud. 
Classical music is a nice sound and it's also relaxing like it's not loud or anything. It just feels like you're so comfortable, and it also makes you sleepy.

Short term (this term):
1	My academic goal for this year is Maths, Because I want to get smarter and think faster, so you know is the answer is going to be.

Hanging out with my family more and play sports during the holidays.

This week I will be learning with a person that you are good to be with, and it is also better to work by yourself to work on more learning stuff.
Wellbeing - (this will be filled in later in the term after some learning around this has occurred)  Students will be asked to come up with a plan around how they could improve their wellbeing and ideas on how to measure this so they know improvements are happening.
End of term reflection

Rising water

Kia ora, 

What we did in Hurumanu 4 was working on rising water.

 Equipment: 

1. petri dish

2. candle

3. lighter

4. cup

5. water

The aim was to see what happens to the water level when the candle is covered and see the smoke and the bubbles inside the cup.

Hypothesis: What do you predict will happen? I thought, inside the cup, it was going to burn the cup.

Results: What did you see happen in detail? When you did what? What I saw inside the cup was the water smoking and also it was cold burn and the reason why because it was not enough oxygen.

Conclusion/why: What did the water do this, what is happening inside the cup? What happens in the cup it was smoking, and it was bubbling inside the cup.

Diffusion Of potassium Permanganate

Equipment: Tweezers, Petri Dish, (Hot water and cold water) KMnO4 

Question/Aim: Does Temperature speed up or slow down Diffusion? The hot water makes the crystals spread faster and the cold one was slowing down.

Result/Observation: Coldwater and Hot water

Conclusion: The Partieles in hot water are moving faster.

 readers today I will be writing my final blog about DTE.

Introduction: what I have been learning in DTE was learning about making an app and gaming app and my gaming app was about Jonah Lomu running and getting a try from the guys behind him chasing after him that makes the world better. Our app was about  Life Below Water, we were working the app on a slide  I was working on,  the Quiz so how the quiz will work it all about sea animals and what they do underwater and rubbish below the water, also my group was Jrae, Isaiah, Hrishaal, and me. Jrae was working on the code, Isaiah was working on Sealife showing the different types of animals, and Hrishaal was working on Information and ways to help animals

I really Like DTE because first, we have the 10 minutes playing typing.com and nitro type I really learned how to making apps because it really helps other people make apps that can help the world by stoping pollutions and that other bad stuff and make it a good thing.
